LIFTING A PLOW

| Montana Jacks has engineered the Winch Rotator for our Accessory Receiver System that places the winch in the very best position for lifting an ATV plow. It has many benefits, and will substantially reduce the wear and tear on your winch, winch cable and fair lead. The Winch Rotator elevates and turns the winch 90 degrees from its normal horizontal mounting so that the fair lead and cable hook are pointing down to the plow blade instead of straight out. By doing this, we have achieved maximum lift height and eliminated the primary causes of early cable and fair lead failures, friction and bending. It comes with a chain and quick link that will allow you to adjust it for maximum lift height without over lifting your plow. This will eliminate push tube and/or chassis damage. Also, the chain has been designed to be heavy enough to keep the cable tight to the cable drum while plowing in the free float position. This will keep the cable from getting birds nested or crossed up. Also included is a 5/16 shackle to attach the chain to the plow push tube. |
