Montana Jack's has engineered our "Accessory Receiver System" for the new Yamaha Rhino. This is a first for Montana Jack's in the RUV class of power sport vehicles.
We have received many requests from Yamaha Rhino owners for a Premium-Quality Transferable Winch Mounting System. They also expressed the need to be able to expand the cargo space with accessories like the ones we offer for ATV's. At the same time, we knew that Warn Industries was going to make available their all new 4.0 ci RUV winch. Currently no one is making a winch mount that can handle the extraordinary power of this new product. So, our engineering department went to work developing a system that would do the job.
Instead of the 1-1/4 inch system that we use on ATV's, we developed a 2 inch system for the RUV. This allowed us to design a winch mount that can take the Warn 4.0 ci to a full stall with no damage to the vehicle. We elevated the winch in both the front and rear positions. We always do this to help minimize how often the winch will be submerged in mud and water which can cause expensive damage. The elevated position makes the winch more comfortable to use and will allow the operator to better see the winch when mounted in the front position. This helps make cable stacking a problem of the past.
Note: This system will support the Warn 3.0 or 2.5 winches as well.
This complete winch mounting package (YRS-2005). Includes the front receiver, rear receiver, elevator bracket, winch mount, winch storage bracket, three piece power cable set with quick disconnects, 2-5/8 shear pins, hardware and instructions. Weight added to your Rhino is 56 lbs.
We have created an optional "Multi-Function bracket" (MFB-1505), which when used in conjunction with the optional "Adaptor Sleeve" (AS-103), will allow the use of most of our current ATV accessories on the Rhino. Thus, expanding cargo space and allowing winch transferability at the same time. This is a bonus feature for those who already own our ATV accessories.
Another great feature which is included is the "Winch Storage Bracket" (WSB-0640). This bracket allows for the safe and secure storage of the winch under the drivers seat when not in use.
