If you are into ATV winching like the guys at Montana Jack's, you're going to want at least one of these “Pair Shaped Links” in your winch hardware box. It works superbly for cinching a winch anchor to keep it tight and from slipping. As a junction for several gated hooks and or creating a short winch anchor from a long strap.
If your ATV is equipped with the “Convert-A-Ball”, this “Pear Shaped Link” and a 1/2” Shackle in combination it will allow you to create a very safe anchor point at the tow ball area of the ATV. The great thing about this anchor is that you can install it when you need it or remove it when you don't and it cannot interfere with the trailer tongue as some anchor points do.
